no offence but it will problably be a bad movie, i love avatar as much as the next guy but still… i think my only reason to see this movie is the special effects cause those look pretty darn good, but i do hope it is a good movie.

i just saw the midnight release of the movie… i have never been more disapointed in my life by a movie! it was pure crap!!!!i expected it to be rushed but i mean come on!he skiped so much stuff! Shamalamamaman is a incompetant idiot who needs to burn in a hole with fire for destroying one of the only great american cartoons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >:( please to all of the people who read this: DON’T SEE THE MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! omg.. regan i kinda agree with you. i saw the movie July 4th and i was totaly disappointed. they didnt say AANG and AVATAR right!.. which was funny when they said it.
but they shouldve mentioned it only covers one book: and thats water. i dont know about you ppl but i thought it was going to be like the whole entire thing. but nope.
i guess the movie was okay tho. but brace yourselves it was pretty boring. only then end is pretty good. i still am going to watch the second one if ther is any. and it better be good. >;]

2 the people who have watched the live action movie I noticed that most of the fire nation r Indian people, and water nation r Americans, and earth r Chinese/Japanese. I think that is pretty weird.

im sorry but the movie sucked….. all the firebenders looked the same…….. all of them WTF was that about only the airbender were based of off indains and they were monks anyways
well it looks like theirs this is the end of avatar the live action movie…. shayman failed and i doubt hollywoods gonna give him money to make another. the effects were the only good part and we no that, that is the smallest factor of making a good movie….. aw well. but needle us to say i don’t thinks that the idea of Avatar the live movie has died…. its a remarkable series and i’m sure someday someone will bring back the topic…. and hopefully learn from shaymans mistcates and make a remarkable version

I’m going to have to echo most of what’s already written here. I was so so so disappointed. They could have made something amazing and failed miserably. If the names had been pronounced correctly and the script wasn’t so poorly written, I would have been able to take it. But those things along will all the other misses are too much. I just hope they get to make the other two. WITHOUT that idiot director.

I haven’t even bothered seeing it I just knew it would be awful. If they wanted to make a movie I admit, if they wanted to make a movie live action is better but also a lot harder they should just stuck with animation. Or another season… that would be nice

I haven’t even bothered seeing it I knew the live action would be a failure. If you ask me, they should have just stuck with animation it probably would have been easier and better. I realize that a live action would have been better but as you can see it made things a lot harder and since they did not fix them, it sucked, A LOT!!!! and if they really wanted to get more money out of the Avatar idea why didn’t they just make another season?

i’m a 14 year old girl, and i happen to love Avatar. I started watching it when if first came out back in 2005. I was excited for the movie at first. I thought the trailers made it look awsome, and well put together. I’m sad to say, that I was disapointed. I don’t want to come out and say that the entire movie sucked. Because that’s not true. There were some good things as well as bad. I love the way Aang’s tattoos looked. I personallly thought it was amazing. I loved Jackson Rathbone as Sokka. .> & I don’t like Zuko, in this movie. In the original series, I was in love with Zuko. From start to finish. >.< Over all the movie was a fail. an epic super major F A I L.

I saw the movie even though it got panned (both online and off) and i must say it sucked hornet fly droppings LOL. The things that killed it the most had to have been the casting (and not for the reason that everyone else was complaining about on the forums) as well as the general acting talent. For example why were the fire nation people ALL Indian? Never saw that in the show. The casting for Iro was one of the MOST disappointing choices I have ever seen, he is suppose to be short fat and funny, in the movie he is NONE of those things. as well it looked to me that the only good actor was the water bending master at the north pole and every other actor just didn’t seem to be up to the task (no offence I think the script had something to do with that). getting into the more nitty gritty, The scar on Zuko was a JOKE it looked like the makeup people spent all of 5 minutes on that thing, it was WAY too small and not noticeable at all unless you look for it. The ending (not going to day what it was in case there are some who haven’t seen it yet) was just a complete letdown. oh and they pronounce AANG and agni-kai wrong EVERY single time WTF

I WASTED 5 DOLLARS AND TWO HOURS OF MY LIFE FOR CRAPPY BENDING AND BAD PRONOUNCING, ITS LIKE HE DIDNT EVEN WATCH THE SHOW AND GOT THE WHOLE STORY FROM A DEAF DUDE LIKE WHAT IN THE WORLD I’M JUST SOOO MAD BECAUSE IN THE COMMERCIAL IT LOOKED GOOD BUT THE WHOLE THING WASN’T FUNNY OR ANYTHING LIKE THE SERIES!!! BUT THEY PUT ALL THE GOOD PARTS IN THAT ONE COMMERICIAL, AND NOT ONE ASIAN!!! WTF!

I’m SO disappointed with ‘The Last Airbender’ movie. The fight scenes are dragging. It takes, what? 50 DANCE moves to bend a cup of water? Don’t get me started about how they pronounced the names. I am SO glad I didn’t waste my money watching this in 3D. It’s like the screenwriters and the director didn’t watch the series! Say what? Agni KEE?! C’mon! REMAKE! Different director, different cast, different EVERYTHING! Sorry, fangirl moment over.

this movie should be funny. everything in this was to serious , Sokka must be realy big optimist , but the Sokka in the movie was like a serious himself.
please Nickelodeon , make a new version of this movie , please.
and honestly , Appa and Momo were the best actors in the movie.
i can’t relize how M. Knight done out of so good story sucha bad movie

This MOVIE IS C R A P. Firstly i thought Aang was a happy child, the actor for him seemed like he was pissed off everytime he fought. The character portrayal of every character was so poorly done. Also secondly, they should be asians, it’s like dragon ball movie all over again. Why the hell is everyone white or indians. DAMN the movie sucks. I hope they don’t make any more real life movies for avatar because it dimishes the original work…Plz make a animated movie though!
