Avatar: The Last Airbender Episode Guide

Zuko, Azula, Mai and Ty Lee go on vacation to Lo and Li’s beach house, where they learn much about themselves and each other. Meanwhile, Aang and the rest of the team are being chased by the man, sent by Zuko, who fires explosive blasts with his mind from a tattoed “third eye”.

i looooooooooooooooooooove this episode. this is the episode where you can see that we all are humans, even the most evil person have a small light inside. look at azula for example, this episode is the first episode where she shows another feeling than anger.ty lee is my favorite charachter!!

at first i couldnt imagine azula being such a good friend to her friends but i guess this episode did show me. sometimes azula do can care so much about the people she treasures most. like the part when ty lee was crying cause of her then azula admits to ty lee that she was jealous of her. that part kinda amazed me :]

This was the first episode I ever saw that made me start watchin…I love this episode. My ex LOVED this cartoon but I didnt know what the show was about or gave it a try until my ex showed me this episode and I got hooked…
AZULA: “My own mother thought I was a monster……she was right of course but it still hurt”
And that was the most serious game of volley ball I have ever seen….they were at WAR…lol…

long ago the four nations lived together in harmony, then everything changed when the fire nation attacked. only the avatar, master of all four elements could stop them, but when the world needed him most he vanished.
100 years passed and my brother and i discovered the new avatar, an air-bender named Aang and although his air-bending skills are great he has a lot to learn before he’s ready to save anyone.
but i believe Aang can save the world.

This was an overall good episode because it was funny, had a tense and exciting action sequence between Aang and the headhunter (get it?) and explored the formerly one-sided characters emotions and feelings, with very funny moments with Azula and serious stuff with Zuko. However, I don’t think the whole vibe of the island fitted well with the setting of the show and Aang was just stupid flying around, just asking for attention. I hope Book 3 is just as good as the other two (I’m new to the series and watching it online).

zuko’s voice is actually played by dante basco. a voice actor of jake the american dragon. also the actor of rufio in the movie “hook”
he is an american-filipino. the thing is, he can’t speak our language that well. kalahi ko siya! XD he’s also a dancer and a stunt man. which makes zuko awesome. zuko can do stunts too! (obviously) why would people hate him? he has such a beautiful voice and a good character.

i couldn’t stop laughing while watching this episode (although i may’ve just been giddy)
imho, i don’t really like mai and zuko. the the first chapter of this book, when they were returning home, zuko was talking, then she just yawned, and his face got all tensed, and they’re just so unreadable with each other.
i think i agree with aimee.
but other than taht, this was one of my fave episodes so far,
