Avatar: The Last Airbender Episode Guide

Aang starts to learn control of the Avatar State from Guru Pathik at the Eastern Air Temple. Sokka is reunited with his father and Toph teaches herself metalbending while Xin Fu and Master Yu transport Toph back to her parents. Katara and the generals plan the Invasion of the Fire Nation. Later, she sees Zuko and Iroh running their tea shop.

okay this episode kindof confuses me. dont read this if you havent watched the show. but like, he says that if aang leave that the chakra is locked and he can never go into the state again. but then in the next episode he opens the chakra, even though it was apperantly locked, and he goes into the avatar state. but in the next season he still loves katara, and he still cant control the avatar state. I dont get it. someone help lol

@alyssa: aang did master the avatar state at the next episode… but while he is in it, he was shot by azula and that blocked his chakras… and he can’t control his avatar state unless the wound is healed or the chakra ones again flows… and loving katara is not part of this… he’s just suppose to let go of her if he needs to unlock the chakra and go to the avatar state…
that is all…

is anyone else afraid that his new and improved self may have weaken his fire bending, fire bending is suppose to be fueled by anger which he had plenty of before his “metamorphoses” but now in his casual state he is allot more come which might significantly weaken him and with azula well aware of his presence in the city he needs to be at his best. then again this might prove to make him stronger and allow him to tap into levels of of fire bending that he was not able to when rage blinded him

@klemenator if this series went on and on and on and on like Naruto does it would cease to be GOOD. After a while it would become stale, all the emotions would drain away and it would be as bad as the film…

I just LOVE aang and Katara.. Aang is sooooo devoted to Katara! My BF actually gave up our movie date just because his best friend invited him to his house to hang out b4 he leaves for Hokkaido!

firebending is not all about anger, range, and burden. it’s all about the control of your breath. anger is nothing. if zuko understands the truth about real firebending(like what he did in book 3: thr firebending masters) he would be a very powerful firebender like his uncle. he was called “the dragon of the west” cause he is the only firebender who can bend fire out of his mouth. and he can also firebend really good even though he is a calm person. during zuko and azula’s agni kai, zuko had overpowered his sister. because of his experience. but of course, azula still overthrowed him because she cheated.

not fair!!!!
people that can earth bend can also metal bend
fire benders can do lightning bend
n water benders can master blood bending
but how about the air benders?… i finished all the season from book 1 to 3 i even saw the stupid movie but i didn’t see aang do special power for air bending…the other elements had their own special bending power..
