    I LOVE ZUKO!

    Don’t get me wrong, i absolutely adore this show, but i think a few things could be altered to make it a bit better. First off, i know that for the whole duration of this show, Katara and Aang are destined to be together, but i think that is a severe mistake. Aang is a gentle monk who is 12 (really 112) years old, and katara loves that, but she seems to motherly towards him for them to be a compatible love match. Toph and Aang would go great together! They are exact opposites and opposites attract! Toph could be the man of the house, and flower child, or twinkle toes as toph likes to call him, could stand in as the more sensitive female of the group. Sokka and Suki are perfect for each other! i wouldn’t change a thing. Last, but MOST certainly not least, Zuko and Katara should be together. They are absolutely perfect for each other, and look fabulous together to boot! they have soooo much chemistry! if you dont understand what im talking about, then you should watch episodes: The Southern Raiders (great chemistry there) and Part 3 of Soasin’s comet. Actually, you should watch any of the episodes where ZUKO<3 joined the gang. They all have impeccable examples of the chemistry between ZUKO<3 and katara. Also, watch the episode when they are imprisoned together in Ba Sing Se.

    ZukoLover–> I so agree with you that Zuko and Katara should be together. They are like so opposite yet very much alike at the same time. Besides, Katara acts far too motherly around Aang.

    I love this episode! Azula’s finally startingto realize she has no real companions and thats going to drive her off the wall later. As far as pairings go I think it should be left to the creators. Mike and Brian know best!

    @ZukoLover: I know how much you lokve Zuko, because I love him too, but that is no reason to go out your marbles calling Aang, ‘a more sensitive female’!! He has lots of spunk and chutzpah, probably more than you! How dare you dis the avatar! I don’t care how much a person loves Zuko, butt that is no reason to diss the rest of the characters. Also @Avatarfan, i agree, all pairings should be left to Mike and Brian, whoevver they are. If it wasn’t for them, you wouldn’t even have a show to critique!!!

    Katara is motherly to *Everyone*…Not just Aang…What’s wrong with being with someone who’s motherly ? She cares about him and wants him to be safe…If that’s motherly then anyone who is in a REAL relationship should be motherly…Care and hope the best for those you love…

    @Will — I am totally the same way…I went a couple years without watching this and here I am back in the saddle again…Nothing weird about it ^_^

    Although im so up for kataang, i sorta agree with ur opinion on zutara, but not on Taang. I know a lot of people want Taang and there is strong pionts on it, but lets get a few things straight. Toph has no romantic interest in Aang, nor does he in her. Even if they did, the relationship would be boring. there is no chemistry between them, and they’d probably argue non stop! at least kataang keeps you guessing, like, will they be together, or will they not? sorta thing.

    I LOVE that line!!!!! It’s also on Mai’s wiki page and it’s such a great line! You can’t help but have respect for Mai after that! And it’s something to stand up to Azula. The creators of this show are awesome; they can come up with great one-liners and they have all throughout the series! XD

    I only started watching Avatar online this past year, but I am so in love and obsessed with it! I just cant get enough! The creators have great imagination and this series is probably the best animated children’s series Ive ever come across. And really, I shouldn’t even limit it to a children’s series because it has so much to offer for all age groups! I love this episode, and Ive always loved Ty Lee and Maie, just cause they are such great characters and I’m super glad they turned against Azula. I do miss Irro though.. especially the early days and his wise aloofness. Haha, he is definetly my favourite character.
