Since Appa was captured, the gang walks across the desert to tell the king of Ba Sing Se about the Fire Nation’s secret. Aang is angry and sad over Appa’s capture. Elsewhere, a secret society helps protect Iroh and Zuko from the Fire Nation and bounty hunters.

WHAT?????? This episode did NOT suck and was NOT boring. In fact, it’s one of my FAVOURITE episodes. Such strong emotions and so real. This is what’s so awesome about Avatar, it picks up on every little detail, making sure to highlight an important reaction from Aang to appa’s capture. You can really feel the anger in Aang! So rare from animated shows to depict raw emotions like this. Especially that last scene, it was so powerful! I LOVED IT. 5 stars!!

dude! Sokka is like totally high! Momo too! “IT’S A GIANT MUSHROOM!!! MAYBE IT’S FRIENDLY!!! FRIENDLY MUSHROOM!!! MUSHY, GIANT FRIEND!!!” then he just licks some random goo off a cave wall? hahaha natural curiousity! this episode made me laugh so much. but the ending was sad….
when Aang comes out of the Avatar State and there are tears running down his face…. that is really depressing….

i agree with white lotus… yep, as smart as the members…^^ anyway, each episode of a story is really important and don’t hate it… cause every episode gives a reason why stuff happens in a story… don’t just say you hate this episode fucktards…>:( the creator of this gives allot of effort for this episode…. aang was sad in this episode… what’s the big deal??? you get sad in you’re life anyway… that’s what characters are here… appa is an important member of their group… you gotta put feelings on him…

U ar not true avatar fans. simple as that. I thought it was a deeply moving episode…and that’s not just coz imma gurl. it show deep realistic emotions and feelings, not often shown on your averege cartoon. i believe the creators put a genuine effort into this chapter, and suceeded. be grateful, coz u two couldnt make up a storyline this good in your dizziest day dreams! if u didnt like it why watch it?
