Avatar: The Last Airbender Episode Guide

After leaving the North Pole, Aang and the group travel to an Earth Kingdom military base to receive an escort to Omashu, so Aang can learn earthbending from King Bumi. The general there reveals a surprising plan, suggesting that Aang trigger the Avatar State to defeat the Fire Lord immediately. Meanwhile, Zuko’s sister Azula claims that the Fire Lord will pardon both him and Iroh if they return home with her.

I cant help but thinking that in the last Episode: Avatar Aang, Aang only beats the Firelord because he goes into the avatar state. I cant help but think that the whole of season 2 and 3 were a waste because of that ending.

Actually, not so. If ou paid atention, it was too dangerous to try that. Not only so, but without mastering the elements, who knows what could have happened, perhaps he would lack that 10% that he would need to win. Maybe, Ozai would be killed, and so would katara. In the end… It should stay as it is.
